Chocolate Peanut Butter Crunch Bars with Reese’s PB Cups Recipe

Insanely delicious, homemade Peanut Butter & Chocolate Crunch Bars with Reese’s PB cups! They’re SO GOOD, so chocolatey, so crunchy, and so easy. I’m obsessed.

Ingredients

  • 14 Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups 9 kept whole, and 5 roughly chopped, for a 9×9 pan you may need 3 more
  • 2 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup butter

Instructions

  • Line with parchment paper and grease an 8×8 (or 9×9) pan.
  • In a separate heat-proof bowl, melt the chocolate, peanut butter, and butter. I like to use a double boiler for this because it’s easier for me to keep an eye on the melting chocolate, but you can melt this in the microwave too. Once melted, remove from the heat.
  • Add the Rice Krispies cereal and five roughly chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups over the melted chocolate mixture in a large bowl. Mix until completely covered with chocolate. Please be careful, the chocolate will be hot.
  • Transfer half of the chocolate mixture to the square pan. Add a layer of the nine whole peanut butter cups (for a 9×9 pan, you may need 12 Reese’s peanut butter cups). Add the second half of the chocolate mixture on top, so the Reese’s peanut butter cups are sandwiched in the middle.
  • Freeze for 30-45 minutes or until completely cold.
  • Cut and enjoy!!! This is such a treat!
